apprenticeships

From May 2009 Acacia Training will be offering apprenticeships alongside its Train to Gain funded awards. Currently under 19s cannot be funded by Train to Gain but candidates over the age of 16 can now do an apprenticeship.

An apprenticeship allows an employee to work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. Apprenticeships are beneficial to businesses in all sectors because they ensure the workforce has practical skills and qualifications to meet the organisation’s needs and objectives. Apprenticeships also improve productivity by motivating staff and helping to avoid skill shortages.

Research conducted on behalf of the LSC found that 76% of employers found that apprenticeships provided higher overall productivity and a further 80% of employers felt that apprenticeships helped to reduce staff turnover.

If you think your business could benefit from apprenticeships as thousands of others have please contact our sales department on 01782 646346.
